In Private: Ire by Angry-Kitsune
In Private: Ire

Punctuality is definitely needing to be practiced :dummy: . I tried to something slightly different with every one of these.

Food: Macaron

Unfortunately that one happened to be absolutely ancient (he found an old stray one that had rolled under the furniture and decided to eat it), and Ire broke a fang-thing. He is feeling a little betrayed right now.

    Sleeping position.

Like a big ol' cat. Sleepy cat thing. His tail looks like a snake.

Compulsion: Bangle Check.

Dunno if this counts for the 'compulsion', but is certainly a habit. He does love his bangle. A simple turn-and-tap will suffice. I gotta work on this angle..

    Activity: Reading

Just to learn a bit more about...anything, really. Currently reading Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them. Probably looking for himself. Also probably hyped for the movie. I know I am.

Emily's Dream by Angry-Kitsune
Emily's Dream

OCT's Task 4 was an art trade. To draw their OC's dream... Emily's is peace.

Things i need to practice: humans, human hands, backgrounds, punctuality. And doves. That's supposed to be a dove in the window. It looks like a child's drawing of a bird. And the cats are asleep because i don't want anyone worrying about the dove. Emily's dream is peace, so the dove is there. Stay away from the coffee, dove.

Sorry this took so long, we had to dash back the pet shop for those two kitties (you can never have just one cat! ^^). I need to practice humans ^^' .

This is MissSleeper 's OC, Emily Templeman.

Alright a bit 'bout myself... :happybounce:
A Random Chic that likes to read and write about random things. Loves giving out Llamas. Bit of an odd love for weapons and sharp things. Love humor but has some issues understanding sarcasm ( but will certainly use it). Pretty good with animals and there are very few critters I don't love, some of my faves are foxes, cats, spiders, bats, and ferrets.

The nonsense in my gallery has *mostly* got some humor in it (in writing, I mean). I have a weird darker sense of sarcastic humor. If you look through my gallery and do not at least smile once, then I have failed and brought dishonor to myself, my family, and my cow.
If, for any reason you decide to watch me, I am not responsible for the nonsense that results from seeing my "art". You have been warned. Ehehehe.
*NOTE: All obsession lists will grow with time, and hardly ever shrink. It is more probable that you will find my obsessions in my Faves rather than my Gallery because I can't draw. XD Every now and then my Hobbies list will grow by a few hobbies at a time, because for some reason I can't pull the names of my hobbies right off the top on my head...
I am online at VERY RANDOM times. Please be patient with me, especially if we're having a conversation. If you can handle me maybe not replying right away, please feel free to start a talk with me, over pretty much anything :)

I'm not the best, but I am willing to learn if you can teach me. Currently trying to amp up my Pixel game and Writing skills!

If you are here because...
I WATCHED YOU. Please don't feel like you need to watch me back. I see that some people think of the 'watch' button as a 'friend' button kind of thing, but I just think of it as a 'watch' button ^^'
I LLAMA-ED YOU. You don't have to thank me for the llama in a comment (unless you want to, of course). Instead, just return a llama ^^ I enjoy trading them~

I'm here for the 7th task of :iconoc-training:
I will try my best to critique Ire. I know I'm not the greatest with these, but here we go!

I like the amount of details you fleshed out for Ire. :) He's a very distinguished character in this round. I like the simplicity you kept for him too. I appreciated the fact that in his wardrobe challenge you included the weapons as appose to the clothes like everyone else does. That was really creative of you!
The color choice for Ire is very nice as well. His design is rather adorable, but you manage to make him threatening when need be. I applaud you for that!

For things to work on, I suggest world building. I'm still not 100% sure what type of world Ire lives in. Is it a modern day setting? Or is this a fantasy world? I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of that! Do incorporate that with backgrounds and possibly other characters in future tasks. That would be fun to see. The other thing I would recommend the proportions when drawing. Look up different reference pictures of cats to help you out with the legs.
Otherwise, keep up the great work! I'm excited to see what makes Ire angry and what he's afraid of.

Hey again! I was assigned to comment on your work in the OC Training IMHO task, so let's get to it!

What I like the most about your work is that I can see you are putting a lot of effort into it, by which I mean that the poses that you are choosing for Ire aren't easy to draw, you don't back from more difficult poses or try to hide the difficult parts behind the character's back or something similar. That's a very good way to improve and I admire you for it. You are also able to make the character convincing looks-wise which isn't easy, I've always found animal anatomy difficult so this is great. I can already see in the In private task that you are improving a lot :)

My first suggestion would be to start experimenting with lighting. Your drawings are very colorful and nice to look at, but they could stand out even more if you added some shades and lights. It helps to reduce the flatness of the picture. Maybe I'd also use a color correction in the computer, it would allow the colors to be more vivid. The only other thing I can think of is to practice even, straight objects (like architecture) - the cat anatomy looks pretty good, but f. e. the house in background in the Guess who task is a bit tilted, so that's what I'd focus on.

Overall, I like Ire a lot and even enjoyed drawing him in the dream task. He is a curious character and I simply adore his expressions, it is difficult to picture a cat doing various faces, but somehow you managed to pull it off while still keeping the character's looks. Keep up the good work, I'm curious about Ire's future development :)

Thank you for choosing AbsurdAir, your captain for this flight is KaidokJ. He has no license, can’t see well and is easily distracted so there’s good chance we’ll never make our destination. But since this whole flight metaphor is just a weak attempt at a humorous anecdote, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem. Ah damn, I crashed through the 4th wall.

Anyway, thanks for the watch. :happybounce:

I’m sure you regret your choice by now, considering this madness is basically what you signed up for, but since all tickets are non-refundable, welcome to Crazytown. Quarantine measures come into effect upon arrival. :psychotic:

On a more serious note, here’s basically the run down. Posting regularly, free funny stories in most fav replies, and the intro to Kevin the Llama in the Llama Badge reply. Not every piece has a story written but DS prefix pics definitely do. Also, if you haven’t already heard, I’ve been designated Kevin Llamason’s official biographer, so you can check out what he’s been up to in The Kevin Chronicles.

So that’s about it. Thanks again for flying AbsurdAir, and I hope you enjoy the ride.
